ABOUT

PERSONALITY:
Raine is a kind girl with a sad smile and a melancholy air about her. She's willing to talk and try to make friends, but she gets embarrassed easily and becomes self-conscious if anyone asks about her scars. She prefers asking a lot of questions about others, but doesn't like answering certain questions about herself. Raine is a bit clingy with Trent and is rarely seen alone.

History:
Raine's mother died when she was nine and her father never really got over the loss. He began drinking more and more heavily and became very abusive towards his daughter. As a result, Raine grew up frightened and insecure. She learned to blame herself for the bad things that happened to her and developed an addiction to self-harm because of that guilt. Her arms and wings bear many scars, most of which are her own doing. Raine met Trent in junior high and they've been a couple since then. She finds Dimitri amusing and views Jace as a little brother. All three boys are very protective of her because of her delicate psyche. Since she turned eighteen, she moved in with Trent and is trying to reclaim her life, but old habits die hard.

Raine sees Armonia as an escape and a chance to start a new and better life.

FUN FACTS:
Being a zubat, Raine lacks eyes and is completely blind. She sees the world only through echolocation.
Raine's mother taught her how to play the piano and she continued learning because playing the piano reminds her of her mother.
Because her father is a golbat, Raine is very wary of evolving. She would rather remain blind than become anything like her father.
